Sloman Neptun Shipping & Transport GmbH” (SNST) located in Bremen, was the first shipping company that operated a regular liner service from the Northern Continent to Algeria. The constantly renewed Sloman Neptun fleet calls every Algerian port with its multipurpose vessels (fitted for conventional cargo, RoRo and Container) and Lo/Lo vessels (fitted for conventional cargo and Container).

Our vessels are able to handle every type of cargo like container, project cargoes, Ro/Ro - equipment, bulk-cargo as well as heavy lifts up to 300 tons piece weight. Sloman Neptun provides you with a regular Liner-Service from the Northwest Continent – UK, Portugal and Spain to every important Algerian port. The main ports of loading are Bremen, Antwerp, Harwich, Leixoes and Cartagena.

In addition to our multipurpose Liner-Service, Sloman Neptun also offers exclusively and consistently the Barcelona – Valencia – Algier Line, which is only for Containers. This Service contains three departures per month. In 2007 the “Sloman Neptun Shipping & Transport GmbH” and the Algerian shipping agency “AMS- Algerian Maritime Services” founded the Joint Venture “Sloman Neptun Algerie” (SNA). From the beginning this cooperation was very successful so that today we operate in all strategically important ports which are: Djendjen, Algier, Bejaia, Annaba, Skikda, Arzew, Mostaganem and Oran. Our highly motivated team shows specialized knowledge as well as the required experience to grant a quick and safe vessel operation. This includes all necessary measures in relation to our mutual cooperation with cargoside, terminal and stevedores as well as all governmental authorities.

SNA takes his “social responsibility” very serious and gives his best efforts to the basketball clubs “C.S.A” and “H.D.M” in Algiers, which are very successful on a national and international basis. Besides sports SNA invests in the young generation for training on the job and offers interesting programs.
